This beautiful home in Middlesex, VT is a newly constructed house. Real Tree Woodworking was involved in several aspects of this new construction project.

Our first task was the 24ft solid maple bookshelf-desk-sewing nook. This was a completely custom concept that required some creative thinking and engineering. The unit had to be built in 3 sections that were then assembled onsite after being lifted over the 2nd floor railing. The first section was a bookshelf with 2 hidden compartments and a cat door for the litter box. The second was a 2 person desk with a printer pull out and file drawers. Finally, the third section was a sewing storage and work area, with a fold out work table and pullout sewing machine station. The entire piece was made of solid hard maple.
